Data and ML platform engineer working in Toronto. My tech stack includes AWS, Kafka, Debezium, gRPC APIs, and Spark (Glue, Databricks). In my spare time, I like to stay active by running and lifting weights.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Physics with Honours from the University of British Columbia (UBC), specializing in Computational Physics. This background has provided me with a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving and coding skills that I apply to my work.

• Streaming on AWS with Flink: A streaming pipeline that replicates a music streaming platform, all on AWS resources. It uses Apache Kafka, Apache Flink on Amazon EMR. Metabase is used as the BI tool.

• Web Scraping DrugAge: An ETL pipeline scraping data from drug age using Dagster, duckDB, dbt, BigQuery, and Streamlit. See the live app here (hosted in Azure with Docker)
